Telecommunications Engineering Technology

The Telecommunications Engineering Technology (TCET) Program at Southern Polytechnic State University  is a multidisciplinary  undergraduate program serving both part- and full-time students.

The program is composed of electrical engineering technology, telecommunications theory and technology, management, and University System of Georgia core courses.

Students can customize their degree experience by taking additional telecommunications or management courses to fulfill their elective credits, which may also be used to fulfill the requirements of an optional minor in management.

The TCET degree includes course offerings such as: telecommunications  fundamentals, data communications, wireless communication systems, network access and backbone technologies, protocols, information theory, networking theory and design,  network management and security, and much more.
