The Atlanta Regional Council for Higher Education’s Cross Registration Program allows students at ARCHE member institutions to broaden their academic experience by registering for courses at other member colleges and universities. It shares the resources of ARCHE member specialties by providing students access to courses not offered at their home institution and allows a chance to experience a different campus environment. Registration is handled through a student’s home institution. Students must contact their college or university’s Cross Registration Coordinator.

Rules and Regulations
Students must be in good academic standing at SPSU.
Students must be enrolled in at least one course at SPSU during the term that they pursue cross registration.
Students may cross register only for courses not offered at SPSU for the given term.
Students may cross register for courses for which they are eligible and have met the prerequisites as defined by SPSU and the host institution.
Undergraduate students may cross register for a maximum of two (2) courses per term and may not cross register for more than a total of eighteen (18) semester hours.
Graduate students may cross register for a maximum of two (2) graduate courses per term and may not take more than two (2) graduate cross registration courses during their graduate program.
First-semester freshmen are not eligible unless cross registering for ROTC or marching band.
Cross registration is not recommended for graduating seniors being that 1) enrollment in cross registration courses is not guaranteed and 2) all grades must be received prior to graduation. Seniors who are graduating at the end of the term in which they are cross registered are responsible for obtaining an alternate grade report from the host institution coordinator to provide to the home institution.
First priority in registration will be given to students of the host institution; cross registration students will be accepted on a "space available" basis.
For all courses taken, the tuition and fees will be at the rate of and paid to SPSU. Special fees (i.e. lab fees, parking, equipment rental, etc.) must be paid directly to the host institution.
Students must meet all immunization and health requirements at both institutions.
Credit and grades taken in cross registration will appear for credit on the SPSU transcript and be calculated into the grade point average.
The academic regulations and rules of conduct of the host institution will apply to cross registrants. When violations occur, in addition to actions taken by the host institution, the home institution may also impose penalties as it deems proper.
